I Love The Colony

You'd be hard pressed to find a bumper sticker saying "I Love The Colony" because no news is good news. The idea of doing this post pops up in my head every once in a while. It started when I was reading the Yahoo news and I guess they link into your zip code or something because there is always a story from The Colony Leader listed. Anyway, the story said there had been a murder! Now this would be major news for us. I clicked on the story and it was about a man who had been murdered 3 months earlier in a bar in Plano (no disrespect to the guy, it was totally random). It was the original story with a date of April and it was now June! Lately, the only story listed is about our high school's valedictorian. It's been there everyday for two weeks. We have corny 4th of July parades and the police blotter once listed "helped an elderly citizen cross the street"--no kidding! If you look at the city paper online the catagories include "school wear" and "rodeo". I may live in the middle of the metroplex but my town has nothing going on and I love it!
